On Saturday 26 March at 8.30pm – 9.30pm the UK will celebrate Earth Hour, where all non-essential lights will be switched-off in support of climate change. Eden, Manchester’s iconic sustainable building will too be switching off all its non-critical lights in participation of Earth Hour on Saturday.
Eden, currently being constructed in Manchester by The English Cities Fund, is one of the UK’s most most pioneering sustainable developments. Amongst its many environmental features, when completed it will feature Europe’s biggest living wall made up of 350,000 plants.
